Should newly hatched chicks be in view of Breeders

In my opinion the chicks should be kept at a good distance from the breeders because the Breeders will be distracted for awhile and would stop producing. Out of sight would be best.

Hi,

I have a small ostrich farm in Canada and am wondering if anyone could tell me if it is a myth or not to keep chick's out of sight of the breeders, as they will stop laying? If this is so, can they be in the same barn as long as they can't see them? At what age can the breeders see chick's that won't effect their laying?

Thanks,
Tammy
